3. A Dangerous Choice
It quickly became clear that jumping into the water was a huge mistake. The two cubs struggled desperately against the strong current and the icy water, trying to cling to their mother’s back.
By the time they reached the middle of the lake, it was evident that the cubs couldn’t hold on any longer. They let go of their mother and began drifting farther and farther away from her.
