24. Welcome Aboard
Saving the first cub wasn’t reason enough to celebrate; they still had one more cub to rescue from the water, and time was running out. The second cub had already sunk below the surface a few times, using up all its energy just trying to stay afloat.
To make matters worse, the boat had drifted, and they had to steer back to the other cub to save it.
