Muddy and faded
You wouldn’t expect much of the bag to survive after being in the water for so long. However, this bag defied expectations. The leather was muddy and faded but still strong and sturdy. The men opened the bag and looked inside again, finding random objects, some of which they couldn’t identify. But when Ben spotted one particular item, his heart started racing.
