Reeling it in
Ben Myers, Brodie’s uncle, was excited about helping his nephew use his new fishing rod. He showed him how to attach the bait and use the rod for the best results. It was Brodie’s first fishing trip on open water, so Ben didn’t expect him to catch anything at all.
Ben was soon proven wrong. The boy started screaming that he had caught something. But once Ben saw what his nephew had hooked, his excitement quickly turned to fear. He was fixated on what came out of the water… something he wasn’t prepared for.
