Boeing 727

In 1999, William Johnson embarked on an ambitious project: purchasing a Boeing 727 aircraft from Olympic Airways for a hefty sum of $100,000. The real challenge began when he had to transport the massive airplane to his forest property in Oregon. Importing it all the way from Athens, Greece, posed significant logistical hurdles and racked up transportation costs totaling approximately $120,000. Despite the substantial investment of $220,000, William was unwavering in his belief that the plane was worth every penny.
