Watch Out for Burns!
Aluminum foil can also help heal minor burns and prevent infections. First, rinse the burned area with cold water and gently dry it with a clean cloth. Apply a thin layer of burn ointment or aloe vera gel over the wound. Next, wrap the area with aluminum foil and secure it with tape. Leave it on for at least an hour or until the pain subsides. You can repeat this process as needed, but be sure to change the foil each time.
Become a Master Baker
Another great use of aluminum foil is to make your baking easier and more fun. Use foil to line your baking pans and trays to prevent food from sticking and make cleanup a breeze. You can also use foil to create different shapes and molds for your cakes, muffins, cookies, and other treats. For example, make a heart-shaped cake by folding a piece of foil in half and cutting out a half-heart shape. Unfold the foil and place it in a round cake pan, then pour the batter into the foil-lined pan and bake as usual. You’ll get a lovely heart-shaped cake ready for decorating!
